Key to a happy and loyal workforce....

At Caxtons we are committed to personal development and training, and believe it is key to a happy workforce and loyal staff.

Once in post, most staff stay with the company for many years, which benefits the company enormously. Developing skills and expanding the number of staff who obtain professional qualifications also provides an expertise hard to find in many companies and a reason for clients to return to Caxtons for a variety of reasons.

In addition to staff development, Caxtons participates in local work experience schemes and has, for the second year in succession, won an award for "Outstanding

Employer Contribution" to Work Experience, presented by Education Business Partnership, Kent.

Students were given the opportunity to experience many of the different jobs in the various departments within the company, and staff were happy to spend time with them. Without those staff Caxtons would not have won the Award.

Human Resources Manager, Debbie Feast, said "We have had really positive feedback from the students themselves. We even had one who didn't want to leave! Many were surprised that we take a positive interest in them, explain the different roles we perform and ask them to practice the skills they learn whilst they are with us. It was very satisfying to receive such a good response and it makes participation in the scheme really worthwhile."
